About Colton Hatch
With roots in Utah back to the Pioneers Colton's family has been dedicated to the future of this great state.
In like manner Colton has given six years to the National Guard serving as a Combat Engineer in the 118th Sapper Company, and after the unit closed became an Artilleryman for the A-145 Field Artillery. Winning commendations. Where eventually he had to choose between renewing his contract or declining the Covid Vaccine. Colton chose the side of medical freedom sacrificing his career for his ideals.
Now serving the great people of this state working for the State Pension System (URS) Colton works with thousands of public employees to prepare them for retirement. Meeting them for personal counseling or giving presentations to large groups. Additionally interacting with the employers to see that their interests are also in alignment. In this capacity he has seen the struggles that we are facing with the economy, housing costs and the weight of inflation.
A husband and father with four wonderful children Colton is in the same struggle that young hardworking families are dealing with all over this state. With many ideas on how to improve the situation and seeing a unique need with the crisis this Redistricting has caused. Colton wants to represent you in the Congressional second district.

Committed to the Family Unit
The family unit is the smallest building block of a civilization. Upon it every other institution relies. Children are entitled to being raised in a home with a mother and father who love them and each other. I will not only reactively defend this sacred institution from attacks, I will proactively seek to destroy the organizations and vectors that threaten it.
Solutions to Crime
The solution to our growing crime problem is found in our own history. We are a frontier people and I will pave the way for that culture of dealing with crime to return. Society will not be held hostage by the worst offending 2% of the population. Or the judges that unleash them upon us.
Energy
Utah has significant natural resources for energy and it is both in the national and State interest to develop them further. In addition we have an opportunity to become a leader in Nuclear development where we can stabilize and future proof our grid to the point where electricity can become so abundant there will be periods where the cost of wattage goes to zero.
Immigration
Like most our problems the answers to this are in our own history. The Founding Fathers defined clearly who they made this country for. "To ourselves and our Posterity." Their first act of congress further clarified the intent. I will seek to repeal Hart-Celler, forge a return to the legal precedence of United States v. Bhagat Singh Thind (1923). During this process we will shut visas down, denaturalize and deport. Using creative measures to drive self deportations thereby allowing ICE to focus on resistors.
Economy
We are committed to fostering a strong economy that benefits Utahns, creating jobs and promoting innovation.

Investing in our children's future through excellent education is a top priority for our campaign.

Protecting Utah's natural beauty and resources for generations to come is crucial.
